In a world full of images, it is often unclear where a photo was taken. GeoPin solves this for the Netherlands. We combine advanced AI with millions of open street images to identify any location in the Netherlands — without GPS metadata, without manual searching.

How We Build It
GeoPin combines multiple technologies in a streamlined pipeline:
Visual AI
Our model converts each photo into a 512-dimensional vector representation that captures visual features — buildings, road patterns, vegetation, and more.
Vector Search
We search 36+ million indexed vectors with Cloudflare Vectorize in milliseconds to find the best candidate locations.
Geometric Verification
Our verification engine matches individual features between your photo and the candidates for sub-50m accuracy.
Open Data
We use 5 open sources: Mapillary, KartaView, Panoramax, Mapilio, and Amsterdam Open Panorama. No proprietary data.
